Berlin's GALLERY twenty-four describes itself as

"Berlin's premier gallery for autodidactic and undiscovered artists from around the world."

That description seemed to fit me perfectly, so the decision to contact them and see if there was a date available for me to arrange an exposition was easily made...

The exhibition will be open to the public starting July 7th, Wednesday thru Saturday, from 2PM till 7PM. It ends July the 20th. Feel free to come and visit if you have the opportunity!

1small.jpg I had prepared some large stickers that announced my exhibition. Wherever it seemed appropriate, we would stick them.
As it turned out, the garbage bin was the appropriate place: I guess the Berlin population is quite law-abiding, since there was hardly any grafitti to be found, nor any announcements like mine. Only the garbage bin showed signs of recent ´billboard-maintenance´. 2small.jpg
3small.jpg Unfortunately, someone took his job very serious.
The gallery is situated in a nice part of (former east) Berlin. And we had the best weather you could wish for. 4small.jpg
5small.jpg Still figuring out how to hang them. Unfortunately I broke some chips from the glass framing of two drawings because I put the drawings a bit too careless on the stone tiled floor.
The hardest part was to get the spacing correct and the drawings as horizontal as possible. 6small.jpg
7small.jpg The vernissage. The spotlights inside produced a lot of heat and in combination with the soft weather it was nice to be outside (after having had a look at the work on display, of course!)
